Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) are a registered charity who deliver advice sessions. The advice given is free, independent, confidential and impartial. Advice is available through face to face contact, telephone or emails. CAB advisors can write letters and make phone calls to service providers on your behalf. They can help to prioritise debits and negotiate with creditors.
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) are a national charity who gives free debt help to anyone in debt. Trained debt counsellors will work out a realistic budget that prioritises your essential bills. They will also negotiate affordable payments with each creditor and stop unfair interest and charges where possible.
